Hi lovely crafty friends!
I’m back today to share something a little different — a 3D fun fold project that’s part card, part gift box, and 100% wow factor! This project was created at the October 2025 Online Stamping Retreat, where the amazing Kylie Bertucci taught us how to make this incredible pop-up drawer with a matching card. I couldn’t wait to put my own spin on it using the gorgeous Floral Charm Suite from Stampin’ Up! 🌸

This project combines two of my favourite things: a beautiful card design and a functional 3D element! The base of the drawer slides open to reveal a little compartment (perfect for a small gift, chocolates, jewellery, or even a mini bundle of cards!), and the card itself pops up to stand proudly on display.

I went with deep, rich tones — Mossy Meadow, Pretty Peacock, and touches of Calypso Coral — to really let those hand-coloured blooms pop. The Charming Day stamp set is a dream for colouring! I water coloured my images using our beautiful inks and Water Painters on watercolour paper to create soft gradients and added a bit of Wink of Stella for that must-have shimmer. ✨

You know I can’t resist texture and layering — this project was the perfect excuse! The background is embossed with one of my favourite embossing folders, then softly ink-blended to bring out all that leafy texture. I tucked in some glimmer paper leaves, linen thread loops, and die-cut foliage to build that full, lush look around the florals.

Can we talk about that drawer lining?! I couldn’t help but decorate the inside with coordinating Designer Series Paper from the same suite — because every little detail matters.

Matching Card Moment

To tie everything together, I created a matching card with the same floral cluster and layout. It’s always fun to see how the design translates onto a simpler surface, and it’s a great way to gift a card and a keepsake in one go.
