Over the next 12 days at The Stamping Lounge, we’re bringing you a little Christmas crafting inspiration, a daily challenge and plenty of excuses to get into your craft room and play! You can follow along with each and every day of the challenge by going over to The Stamping Lounge Facebook Page and following.

Whether you’re a traditional Christmas crafter, love a little colour, or enjoy putting your own spin on Christmas projects, we hope you’ll join us for the fun.
And what better way to kick things off than with our first challenge…

DAY ONE: MERRY & BRIGHT

For today’s challenge, we’re looking for projects featuring:
✨ Bright colours
✨ Bold patterns
✨ Cheerful Christmas imagery

Basically… anything that makes you think MERRY & BRIGHT! 🌈

My Day One Inspiration

For my project, I decided to take the challenge quite literally and go BIG on colour!

I paired a bold black-and-white polka dot background with a collection of brightly coloured bows from the Elegantly Wrapped Bundle.

I absolutely LOVE how the colourful bows pop against the monochromatic background. The combination of black, white, pink, blue, green, orange and yellow feels fun and playful, while the gold sentiment adds just a little Christmas sparkle.

I also couldn’t resist adding a few embellishments and some black-and-white twine to give the card even more texture and movement. It just goes to show that Christmas cards don’t always have to be red and green!

Now it’s YOUR turn!

We’d love for you to join in with the 12 Days of Christmas challenge series!
Create a project inspired by today’s Merry & Bright prompt and share it with us.

It could be a card, scrapbook page, 3D project, gift packaging… whatever you’re inspired to make!
And don’t forget to use:
