Hello guys and thanks for popping by my little corner of the web today.
I really appreciate every stop by my little blog and all the love you guys leave me. I have had a lot of messages and people asking me how I’m doing and I have to say that it is still a day by day process of accepting and learning how to deal with things going on ~ but each day is getting more positive and I’m doing better – a HUGE thanks for all the love from you all!
Today I am coming by though to share this FUN card that I made with one of my favourite new stamp sets from the new Mini Catalogue – the Press On Stamp Set. Today’s post is also part of Kylie Bertucci’s fun Monthly Team Blog Hop. Be sure to scroll below to check out all the fun links to the blogs that have taken part!
This fun set was a million dollar stamp set designed by the lovely Joyce Feraco who as part of her million dollar sales achievement with Stampin’ Up! designed this set. She must have designed it with me in mind *wink* – I am a bit of a coffee ADDICT!
Be sure to check the bottom of this post where you can see links to all the products I have used in today’s project, all of which are available in my store here.
Here’s a look at the finished card where you can see that I just LOVE one of the new colours that was released in the latest In Colour collection ~ Cinnamon Cider and it works so perfectly with this fun Press On Coffee Stamp Set.
I have used one of my favourite watercoloring techniques to watercolour stripes onto a water appropriate cardstock – in this case I have used Shimmery White Cardstock and a mixture of both Early Espresso and Cinnamon Cider with our fabulous new Water Painters! The new Water Painters are just fabulous and something that I would recommend to everyone! The fact that they come in a set of three with each being a different size – including a large brush is just perfect!
They are also a bargain price only being $21 for the entire set. You can purchase them in my store here.
Here’s a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail. I have added a lot of fun embellishments including the fantastic Antique Corners & Slides with some of the Cinnamon Cider In Colour Ribbon which I have slightly frayed at the ends.
I have then further embellished with some of the gold cord linked below and added some Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
The coffee cup I have stamped using the Press On Stamp Set and I have coloured this with a mixture of Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends.
I have also added some Wink of Stella for further sparkle & shine!
Lastly here is a look at the decorated inside which I have kept pretty similar to the outside, but also stamped some coffee beans using the Press On Stamp Set and coloured them with Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends.
I also added a further stamped sentiment, stamped in Cinnamon Cider Ink.
I hope you got some inspiration from today’s card share. Be sure to go and check out all the other blogs in today’s blog hop and be inspired by all the amazing creations!
Much much love and as always,
Big crafty hugs!
