Stamping Society Valentines ~ Stamping Society January

Hello everyone…it’s a brand new year!! Happy 2021! Who can believe we are in a brand new year! We have seen the back of 2020 and it’s a brand new year to focus on brand new crafty things! Yippee!

This month we are focusing on all things valentines and love as we are preparing for February and we have featured lots of brand new products from the upcoming Mini Catalogue that goes live on January 5th – which features lots of gorgeous products.

What is Stamping Society?
It’s a monthly tutorial bundle from six different designers all over the world and each month we do a blog hop featuring a certain theme or product and then put together a tutorial and video which you can either purchase, earn for free on our teams or earn for FREE as one of our customers.

Here’s a look at the finished card.
I chose to feature the Hot Dog stamp set from the Mini Catalogue.
It was such a fun and cute stamp set to work with for such a fun theme.
I chose to use a stamp set that wasn’t necessarily Valentines themed. These cards could be used for friendship cards or even to give to loved ones (or Valentines) but not necessarily just partners.

Here’s a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.
I have used the brand new Blending Brushes to add some of the Coastal Cabana Ink lightly to the background for some added colour.
I loved adding the beautiful dachshund dog as a fun little friendship/special other card. This could be used as a card for so many occasions.

I have also used the Stitched with Whimsy dies with create a fun stitched rectangle feature to the background.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card which I have kept simple with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White with a strip of the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper! I have added some Linen Thread and some stamps from the Hot Dog Stamp Set with some Magenta Madness Ink.
