I was so excited to attend the Online Stamping Retreat run by the lovely Kylie & Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio & Gina Hawley back at the end of October – I am finally getting around to blogging the projects that I made! These retreats are magical! I can’t wait to attend my next retreat next year because each time I attend I have so much fun and leave so inspired, revived and with a head full of ideas and inspiration!
The card I am showing off today is a super fun Double Pop Out Card from the crazily super fabulous Gina Hawley! I love her super cute whimsical cards that she makes and her original was so much fun! Gina’s original design actually used the super cute Rhino Ready Bundle which is also super adorable but I loved changing it up to use another Online Exclusive, the super gorgeous Fluffiest Friends!

the finished double pop out card featuring fluffiest friends…

Here is a look at the finished double pop out card. I loved using the beautiful Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper on this card, it was actually the first time that I had used it! The beautiful colour combination of Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party was so bright and fresh combined with the fun and whimsical Fluffiest Friends bundle.

the colour inspiration FOR THE PROJECT…

I wanted something bright, fresh and funky for my fun and whimsical card and so I took my colours from the Glorious Gingham Designer Series Paper choosing the Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist Designer Series Paper patterns as my base. I then. added some beautiful Pool Party as a fresh addition which was a nice way to incorporate some “sky”.

This beautiful Fluffiest Friends bundle is so cute and a beautiful bundle which was added as part of the Online Exclusives range and you can find this whole range in my online store here.

The fun double pop out design was a fun way to feature the beautiful animals from this bundle which I had fun colouring with a variety of different colours of Stampin’ Blends which you can see listed in the supply list below. I added some grass which was so easy to die cut using the coordinating dies that come in the bundle which I used a combination of both Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green.

The magic of the double pop out card magic is so much fun, the mechanism behind this fold allows the pop out to lift and create a super cool pop out card!

I added a little birdie from the bundle which I coloured with a mixture of Pool Party and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends.

The sentiments I used for the card are actually taken from the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set.

Here is a look at the finished card fully revealed and spread out. How much fun does it look with all the colours and designs showing? If you need more room to write, you can add another panel to the back side of the card. This design is so much fun!
