I wanted to come by and share this fun & whimsical inspired baby card that I made for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge this month to create a card inspired by a celebration.
When I think of all the things we celebrate and send cards for, the idea of creating a baby card came to mind for a few reasons. 1) Celebrating a new baby is one of life’s greatest gifts but 2) I am really bad at making these ahead of time and having a bit of a stockpile!
With the latest annual catalogue Stampin’ Up! released this beautiful Cutest Onesie bundle that I thought is just the cutest whimsical set!

When I saw the adorable little onesies – I really wanted to create a hanging clothesline feature. I had seen a card similar to this cute sometime ago and I wanted to have a go at creating it.
Using some whimsical inspiration I added some clouds, grass and a sun so by mixing up the products and using the Brightest Skies Bundle, grass from the Garden Meadows Dies and some fun clouds from the Playing in The Rain Set.
I love that we can so easily mix and match products to come up with a fun project.

I decided to colour these adorable little baby onesies with a variety of blues, greens and yellows for a fun baby boy card.
My accents for the card included some adorable little cut from the Bright Skies bundle which I have coloured with some Stampin’ Blends and accented with some beautiful flat sequins.

I added some basic stamping and colouring to the inside to match with the baby card theme and now I have a fun and whimsical sweet baby boy card ready to go!
This was a lot of fun to make and I can definitely see myself making some cards featuring the Cutest Onsie bundle because as the name suggests – it is really cute!
