Best Dressed Suite ~ Catalogue CASE

Today I want to share a super fun card with you that was totally CASE’d from the new Mini Catalogue.

When I get a new set/bundle. the first place I usually go for inspiration is the new catalogue – it’s full of amazing ideas from the gorgeous concept artists at Stampin’ Up!

I just fell in love with this Best Dressed Suite from the catalogue, and to be honest I thought of my younger sister Morgan. She is OBSESSED with make up and shoes! This suite has her name all over it!

I hope you enjoy the card I am sharing with you today.

To create this card I followed these steps:

Cut a card base from Basic Black to your standard card base.
Cut a layer 1/8” smaller from Purple Posy than the the Basic Black base.
Cut a piece of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to 1/8” smaller than your previous layer of Purple Posy.
Take the Dressed to Impress Dies and cut TWO handbag handles in Thick Whisper White Cardstock. Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the Purple Posy layer, then adhere these handbag handles to this, as shown above.
Take some Linen Thread and wrap it around these layers three times underneath the first handbag handle and tie a bow. Now there these layers to the Basic Black Card base.
Fussy cut some images of flowers, handbags and shoes from the Designer Series Paper and adhere these above the adhered handles, so it looks as if they are sitting on a shelf. I have adhered some with Multipurpose Glue and some with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a label piece from the Dressed to Impress Dies with Pretty Peacock Cardstock and then heat emboss a sentiment ‘Hello Fabulous’ in white. Adhere this to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Spritz some Wink of Stella over your card by tapping the Wink of Stella Pen on the lid.
To finish off and decorate I have added some 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots in Purple Posy, to tie in with that layer and the flowers I have chosen to fussy cut.
To decorate the inside, I cut a layer of Purple Posy and a layer of Whisper White, added a strip of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper and a sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink, and finally a fussy cut flower.

This is the perfect girly card, and I am sure you have a lot of people in your life that you could think of to give this to – it would make the perfect mother’s day card too!
