I had a blast last night on my regular Facebook Friday with everyone and this week I had fun making a simple card – it may not look simple – but it definitely is! A couple of quick measurements and a pencil and this corner flip card is easy and a great way to use Designer Series Paper!
When I was trying to think of what to make this week, I couldn’t resist this gorgeous new A Little Latte Suite from the Online Exclusives but I was also thinking about the upcoming NEW catalogue that we will have coming up which means that I am wanting to USE UP Designer Series Paper before it retires and this design is a great way to use Designer Series Paper!
#loveitchopit Stampin’ Up! have beautiful Designer Series Paper and I am all about getting them on those projects! Cut them up and use them.
P.S. Have you seen the gorgeous new Online Exclusives yet? They are amazing and the Flowering Zinnias is already on backorder – that’s how popular they are! Don’t worry it will be back! But this A Little Latte suite is while stocks last. I have a PDF flyer where you can see everything that is available and you can shop all of these goodies in my store here.
a look at the finished corner flip card
Here is a look at the finished corner flip card, doesn’t the design look gorgeous? Elegant and simple yet still a fun fold, I love this about this fun design. I was actually really inspired by the Petal Pink on this design to bring in the touches of Rose Gold that reminded me of the fittings and touches of Rose Gold I have seen on the more fancy coffee press and coffee accessories I have seen in the ‘fancy’ coffee stores.
When choosing a colour palette in a suite I quite often will refer to the Designer Series Paper colour designs first and foremost if I am bringing in the Designer Series Paper and use one or more of the colours which in this case I chose to go with the Petal Pinks and Calypso Coral as my main inspiration for my card. These are two colours that I do not use often at all and so I was delightfully surprised by the end results.

a close up look at the detail & all that luscious rose gold foil!
Here is a close up look at the finished corner flip card. When you flip down that top corner you could adhere it flat to the card with your choice of adhesive but I chose to adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little bit of extra dimension. I find it a bit hard to resist Stampin’ Dimensionals wherever I can.
This A Little Latte Suite comes with the most gorgeous paper and accessories and I managed to use the whole suite on this card, I just loved all the texture they all added and brought to the card. I also absolutely adore that Polka Dot Natural Trim, I am a lover of ribbon and especially ribbon that frays & this stuff looks adorable pulled apart into individual threads!
Here is a look at all the gorgeous ‘extras’ that come as part of the suite. You can find them in my store here.
a look at the inside & the stamped coffee!
Here is a look at the inside of the finished card. I kept this one simple with a stamped coffee cup coloured with Stampin’ Blends and some stamped coffee splats. Who could resist a coffee splat stamp? They are cool on any card!
I love that this bundle includes a good mixture of fun coffee themed stamped and coffee themed dies that work well on their own.
I showed it in my video (which you can find linked in the PDF below) at just how many cool things you can do with this bundle, but there really are so many possibilities with this one!
As usual you can get the full PDF with all the measurements in both imperial and metric below.
