Hi lovelies! 💕
I’m so excited to be sharing this fun double panel pop up card today that I created during the Online Stamping Retreat. This one was inspired by the fabulous Kylie Bertucci and it’s honestly such a wow project – a real celebration card with a surprise inside!

I went for a bold, vibrant look with a watercoloured background in pinks and corals, then layered up the gorgeous butterfly dies in golden yellow tones. I couldn’t resist adding a pop of glitter cardstock (because sparkle is life ✨) and tucked in the Time to Celebrate sentiment to finish it off.

I love how dimensional the butterfly wings look when they’re lifted slightly from the card – it gives such a soft, floaty feel. A few sequins scattered around completed the look perfectly.

The magic happens when you open this card! Inside, there’s a pop-out fun fold panel filled with butterflies – big, small, layered, stamped, die cut… basically a whole fluttering garden.

The colour combo of yellows, oranges and pinks feels so fresh and happy – and it ties back beautifully to the Bokeh background effect. I added the sentiment Happy Birthday so it’s ready to go for a special celebration.

the finishing touches

Fun folds are one of my favourite ways to really wow the recipient. They’re easier than they look (promise!) but pack so much impact. Pairing them with the Beautiful Bokeh Suite just made this project sing – the colours, the dies, the sentiments… everything worked so seamlessly.
