I was so excited to be back to sharing live on Facebook again the other day and it was a lot of fun to craft live with everyone! I had a blast creating with some brand new products from the brand new Mini Catalogue that has just gone live!
The Lighter Than Air Suite is one of my favourites from the new catalogue and what a fun way to have my first play with it than to create the quick and easy fun fold card using some fresh and fun colours!

Here is a look at the finished and easy fun fold card. I had a lot of fun creating this design and using the beautiful colour scheme that was inspired by the suite. I added a few pops of bolder colours like the Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Azure Afternoon and some Berry Burst.

a close up of the beautiful details of this easy fun fold
Here is a close up look at some of the detail in the finished card. I loved that the Hot Air Balloon comes with both balloons that you can stamp and die cut or balloons that you can simply die cut and use alone. This bundle also has coordinating Designer Series Paper that actually matches with the dies (I have not used it in this project – but it is a super cool addition!) I have used a few amazing specialty papers in this easy fun fold project which I just loved – you can see it with the addition of the vellum, gold glimmer and the soft shimmer on the smaller Hot Air Balloon.
I do love a bit of glimmer, glam or vellum!
This style of fun fold is also a great one for using up the fun Designer Series Paper designs that come as part of these fabulous suites and this suite features the most adorable subtle coloured designs. I especially loved this striped design because it featured all the colours shown in the suite.

This picture shows the fun fold effect and how cool this card is when it is folded out. You still get to see a peek of that beautiful Designer Series Paper design on the inside and have a space to write a fun greeting.
