Today I’m super excited to share a sweet + playful project I created for this week’s Global Design Project challenge — #GDP526! This week is a sketch challenge, and honestly… I had so much fun turning this simple layout into something bright, candy-filled and totally Christmas-cute. 🎄🍬

Sketch Challenge #GDP526 for Global design project

For my card, I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Homemade Treats bundle, which is packed full of gingerbread men, peppermint swirls, candy canes and all the nostalgic holiday goodness. The sketch instantly reminded me of little plates or piles of treats — so naturally, I ran with that and built a whole festive candy cluster in the centre of the design.

I layered the treats over a warm woodgrain background, added stitched circles for texture, and finished it off with that adorable sentiment:
“It’s beginning to taste like Christmas” — which honestly sums up my December energy perfectly! 😂

Inside the card, I kept the decorating simple but still cute with more little treats tucked into the corner. Because flat-lay candy cuteness? Always yes.
