Recently I attended the Online Stamping Retreat with Kylie & Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio & Gina Hawley. I always have a blast learning lots of new fun fold ideas. In Bruno’s class he showed an AMAZING project with so many layers, techniques and interactive elements, the Multi Panel Showcase Card. I kept my card similar to Bruno’s design with the Take To The Sky suite which is perfect for masculine cards. I chose a Father’s Day theme which is coming up in September. You can find the whole suite in my online store here.

the finished card – the envelope!
This picture shows the front of the envelope. You might be wondering as it looks just like a card! This is a special project that needs a special envelope! This is a large card that needs a large envelope! The finished envelope is approximately 8″ x 6 1/2″. It is one of those special projects you make for a special person or special occasion. I created this card with a Father’s Day theme so I am all prepared for Father’s Day in September.
The Take to The Sky Suite is a great masculine suite perfect for Father’s Day or the special men/boys in your life — or I have even seen it used with girly colours – the sky really is the limit!
Here is a look at the colour combo used for this card.
flip it over and there is a card – on the envelope
Flip the envelope and there is a card on the back! Say what….
It also acts as a stand for the envelope so it can be a card/gift in itself which is pretty cool!
I am a bit in love with that adorable die cut plane.
some close ups and the inside of the card
Here is a look at the close up of the front of the envelope which actually features a collection of dies including the Spotlight on Nature circle dies, Nested Essentials Dies and I think I even snuck is the Radiating Stitches Dies.
I did make a mess with some White Craft Ink adding some splatters of white on the background (this stuff is messy but so worth it).
The inside of the card I kept basic with some layers of Basic White, Night of Navy and some of the Designer Series Paper. The beautiful stamped planes I coloured with a mixture of Boho Blue, Copper Clay, Crumb Cake and Real Red Stampin’ Blends.
the surprise multi panel showcase card inside
Here is the surprise that is inside! This is the magic Multi Panel Showcase Card! The finished card is folded up so that it will fit in that envelope.
The card has a lot of pieces and a few steps, but it is worth it!
the magic of the multi panel showcase card
This card is hard to photograph, I won’t lie but I wanted to show you how the multi panel showcase card stands up to display. All those beautiful panels flip out to be like display panels. How magic!
I added a combination of Textured Metallic Foil, embossed layers and stamped panels. Bruno had collaged the background of the centre panels with a combination of textures and colours with the Nested Essentials Dies which looked amazing. I won’t lie – I didn’t have these dies until I saw this card. I’m in love!
a look at how the card looks laid out
This was the easiest way to photograph this card to show off the panels, even though you don’t see how it stands on display.
The multi panel showcase card involves a bit of labour but it is so worth it. What a fun card to gift to someone. I think I am going to have to make another in a different theme.
I always have so much fun at the Online Stamping Retreat and can’t wait to finish all my other projects which I will share soon. Be sure to go and follow the OSR page for all the updates.
Much love & crafty hugs. xx
