Welcome back to another fabulous week where the TGIF team are sharing some super fun Simple Stamping projects!
What is simple stamping? Exactly as the name suggests – stamping without all the fuss! You don’t need to have loads of supplies – just keep it simple! Sometimes the whole craft room becomes overwhelming, or maybe you are a beginner – simple stamping is a great solution!
Here’s a look at this week’s challenge…
Here’s a look at my card for this week.
I have played with a technique that is super easy and super fun!
Using my Stamparatus tool – this Stampin’ Up!’s stamp positioning tool and is a great tool as a beginner because you can get perfect stamping results and you can also use it in place of having stamping blocks in every size!
I have positioned the large leaf image from the Artfully Layered stamp set so that it would stamp in the centre of my card. I then have inked it up in Blushing bride, stamped it and then have gone back over with Mango Melody, Pale Papaya and Magenta Madness. The Stamparatus means that you can continue stamping multiple times in the same position.
To add my layers of colours I have added ink using a Sponge dauber onto the stamp so as not to ink the whole image.
This allowed me to stamp an image in multiple colours!
Here’s a close up look at the finished card.
I have added the ‘text’ image over the top of my stamped image in Blushing Bride and added a sentiment right over the top in Memento Black.
I added some beautiful sequins as a last touch and some spritzes of Wink of Stella.
The beautiful white on white really helps these bright colours to ‘POP’.
Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I have replicated the multi stamped and added some more text in Blushing Bride,
I hope you enjoyed seeing the Simple Stamping project this week and be sure to go over to the TGIF blog and join in the challenge!
