Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
I decided to create one of the fun slim line cards that are all the rage at the moment.
In the current Mini Catalogue, these super fun Slim Line Card Dies were released and they are so much fun! I used one to create the main focal point for this card. Backed with some of the gorgeous Rainbow Glimmer Paper – which is sadly retiring soon it makes for a really bright and fun card!
I have added touches of silver foil and that was the base of my card done!
You could use the same idea and back the slim line die with a whole range of colours and textures from our papers and speciality papers!
To create the fun focal point of the card I have used the Artfully Layered bundle to do some fun stamping techniques.
The main leaf I have stamped using a Stamparatus and Sponge daubers to achieve a multi toned stamping look. I have used some; Pale Papaya, Flirty Flamingo, Polished Pink and Mango Melody to achieve the look I wanted. I then stamped the smaller leaf in Pale Papaya on some Pale Papaya cardstock and coloured using Pale Papaya Blends.
These all have corresponding dies to cut them out.
I have also cut a detailed leaf from Gold Foil.
The card was finished with some of the Iridescent Rhinestones and Loose Flower Flourishes.
Here’s a look at the card inside where I have added some more of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper, silver Foil and another detailed leaf this time die cut from Pale Papaya Cardstock.
