Stampin’ Up! – Classic Cloche – Global Design Project #GDP317

Welcome to another week at Global Design Project and this week we have a colour challenge. These are possibly my favourite! Stampin’ Up! is all about colour I think so when I am pushed to try a new colour combo, I am up for the challenge!
This colour combo was fun to try!

Here’s my fun take on the challenge…

I was reminded of the Whimsy & Wonder suite and the gorgeous Designer Series Paper when I saw this colour combo so I wanted to bring that out to play with but combine it with the gorgeous Classic Cloche bundle and these super fun shaker domes!

I love that we have so many gorgeous interactive products that can make such fun projects!

I have stamped the little houses and trees in a mixture of Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron and brought in some Misty Moonlight to the basic of my shaker dome.

I used the beautiful holographic pattern from the Designer Series Paper for my background and added lots of subtle white to the background of my card.

Here’s a close up of some of the details of the card and you can see the details in the shaker dome.
I did cut some extra trees from the cloche dies to fill up my dome a little more.

The fun Designer Series Paper also had this beautiful holly in Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron so it was perfect to fussy cut out for this card and fit the colour combo perfectly!

I have accented the top of my shaker with a double bow – I did sneak in some Pool Party ribbon but as it’s sheer it actually looks like Mint!

We also carry some beautiful Genial Gems in Mint Macaron as well so I have added some touches of those to the card.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card which I kept simple with layers of Basic White and Basic Black with some more Designer Series Paper, some fussy cut holly, twine and a simple sentiment stamped in Misty Moonlight.
