Hi everyone and thanks for popping by my blog for another Monday Global Design Project post.
I am so excited to bring you another post sharing another fabulous challenge.
This week we are featuring a beautiful sketch challenge.
Be sure to check out the sketch below and head over to the blog to see the challenge.
Here is a look at today’s project…
I had a lot of fun transforming this sketch and using the beautiful new Eden’s Garden collection with this fun sketch. I have combined it with the gorgeous Delivering Cheer stamp set.
I took a chance to pull out the gorgeous Cotton Specialty Paper and distressing it. I love putting my hand up to distress anything!
To achieve this look I have scrunched the paper up and lightly rubbed a Versamark ink pad over the top before sprinkling some Gold Embossing Powder and gentling heating it to melt the embossing powder.
I have combined this with some of the Eden’s Garden Designer Series Paper and the beautiful Gems that also coordinate with the Eden’s Garden collection.
Here’s a close up look at the finished card.
I just love all the little fun details.
I have pulled in some fun embellishments including the Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon and some Linen Thread (I always try and sneak that on there)
My adorable tree holding girl from the Delivering Cheer stamp set is coloured in a combination of; Gray Granite, Poppy Parade, Cinnamon Cider, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends. The boots? They are actually stamped? That’s really easy to do by simply masking the girl off to stamp only the boots in Real Red before stamping the rest of the image right over the top in Memento Black!
Here’s a look at the inside of my card which is simple with layers of Soft Succulent, Basic White with a strip of the Garden of Eden Designer Series Paper and some stamps from the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set stamped in Soft Succulent and Crumb Cake.
I hope that you got some inspiration from today’s card share.
Be sure to pop over to the blog and check out this week’s challenge and pop your entry in.
Until next time,
Crafty hugs! x
