Stampin’ Up! – Frosted Gingerbread – Global Design Project – #GDP316

I am so excited to be participating in the Global Design Project Blog hop this week.

Here is this week’s challenge….

The gorgeous card by Stesha was a stunning one to CASE (Copy & Selectively Edit) and I decided to use the Frosted Gingerbread suite as a base to work from….

Here’s a look at my finished card.
I stuck to using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder that Stesha used on her original card as I just loved the texture that it added to the card.

This suite is gorgeous and has so many elements that you can use.

I made the bauble really ‘pop’ over the card by die cutting the more detailed image from Gold Foil and then cutting the solid image from Basic Black.

Here is a close up image of the detailing of the card.
The little pinwheel images are cut from Red Velvet.
I love any textured paper that Stampin’ Up! carry in their product line and the velvet is just GORGEOUS.

Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I have added more Red Velvet and a left over die cut piece from the card front and added some more stamping, using the peppermint candies stamped in Real Red.
