Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Posies ~ Kylie’s International Blog Highlights July

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday and welcome to another month of Kylie Bertucci’s fabulous International Blog Highlights.

Want to know something? This actually came together REALLY quickly on a break in between work meetings and was all based around the Gorgeous Posies stamp set that actually coordinates with our Gorgeous Posies Kit. 

I wanted to make something that didn’t involve using the kit, but I was so inspired by the colours of that gorgeous kit and wanted to replicate something a little similar.

I pulled in a few colours such as those listed here and used my Stamparatus and stamping three times to get a multi-toned stamped effect with lots of different purples.

I used the same technique with the leaves with some Soft Sea Foam and Shaded Spruce.

Here’s a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail. 

I have added a small strip of the Gold Foil to bring in some gold as I had heat embossed the centres of the flowers in gold.

I then heat embossed the sentiment in white on some Basic Black cardstock to make it really stand out.

The background is simple layers of Thick Whisper White Cardstock and a sheet of embossed Vellum which I have used the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder to add texture too.

I have used a base of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.

I then finished off the embellishing with some of the Frosted Epoxy Droplets and one of the Purple Posy Butterfly Gems. I also added a ribbon bow tied with the Purple Tri Colour Ribbon!

I hope you got some inspiration from today’s card share.

Something a little bit different from me, as purple is not a colour I go towards often!
