Hi guys and thanks for popping by my blog this evening.
Today I decided to pop onto my Facebook Page and share something fun that I was working on last night – I needed some SUNSHINE!
I don’t know about you and where you are in the world – but right here, right now where I live in Tasmania, Australia, it has been raining for weeks!
I saw this stamp set sitting on my shelf and saw the sunflowers and it reminded me of where I need to be right now – in the sunshine!
I was really inspired to create this HAPPY card and to pull out the gorgeous Ombre Speciality 12×12 Paper that is only new to the Annual Catalogue that was only recently released.
See below for a link to the video where you can see just how I put this card together (and another surprise card using the same stamp set!).
I have also listed all the supplies I have used at the bottom of this post, all of which are available in my Stampin’ Up! online store.
Don’t forget at the moment if you spend $90 you get a FREE Sale-a-Bration gift of your choice!
Here’s a look at the finished card.
I just loved creating this fun and happy card. I also love that Stampin’ Up! have these fun Mason Jar Shaker domes that fit so perfectly with the Jar Punch.
It makes making shaker cards so quick, easy & fun! You can fill them with just about anything! I chose to use the fun Sequins For Everything Pack which was released in the last Holiday Mini Catalogue. They had a great mixture of orange, gold and silver sequins that were perfect for this!
Here is a close up look at the finished card.
I have coloured my sunflower arrangement in a mixture of; Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.
If you check out the video below you can check out my whole colouring process!
I have then accented the card with a nice big bow tied with the Bumblebee Gingham Trim with some of the silver Simply Elegant Trim tied in a nice big double bow!
For the sentiment I used one of my pre-done sentiments from the Many messages bundle – which I decided to use one of the sentiments from the additional Many Happenings Stamp add on. This is seriously my go to sentiment sets!
If you don’t have these two sentiment sets and die in your stash – it’s one of my top recommendations!
Here’s a look at the inside of the card where I have used a leftover strip of the Ombre Paper with another stamped sunflower arrangement coloured the same as the outside, and finished off with some Linen Thread.
Here’s a look at the video where you can get all the tips for how this came together…
I hope that you got some inspiration from today’s card share.
I really enjoyed crafting along with everyone today on my Facebook Live.
If you haven’t checked me out over on Faecbook, i’d love you to come and follow my page so that you don’t miss a Facebook Live – I love to chat & craft with you all.
Until next time.
Big crafty hugs! xx
