I am so excited to be bringing you a fun card as part of the Colour Inkspiration challenges this fortnight.
I was lucky enough to be the winner for the #116 challenge which you can see here.
As a winner of the previous challenge I am lucky enough to be guest designer for this challenge and what a fun challenge it is!

What a fun colour combination of beautiful soft greens and neutrals.
When I saw this challenge my head went straight to the soft beauty of the Peonies bundle from the Annual Catalogue.
Here’s a look at my finished project.
I really wanted to add some gold to really give my projects something a little ‘extra’
I chose to create a fun background using punched images from the Bough punch which I have punched in Very Vanilla and adhered to Very Vanilla Cardstock. To add some of the Soft Succulent to my background I have softly added some ink to the edges of the cardstock with a Blending Brush.
I added some Gold Foil and some Linen Thread for a fun base to work with for my card.
To add in some of the Garden Green, I have used a Stampin’ Write Marker to spritz some over my background.
Here’s a close up look at the finished card.
I had a lot of fun stamping the largest peony image and colouring with a mixture of Soft Succulent and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I didn’t have Basic Gray Blends so I found that Smoky Slate would give the same look. I added the Basic Gray into my design with one of the gorgeous Heart & Home Doilies. This gave some more layering and texture to the card.
Lastly I embellished with some Wink of Stella and some Brushed Brass Butterflies.
Here is a look at the inside of the card where I have added some more stamping with another peony coloured with Stampin’ Blends and some more Gold Foil and a simple sentiment.
This card was a load of fun to put together.
Be sure to pop over and check out the challenge
Crafty hugs! xx
