Welcome to my blog this week where I am sharing another fun project made for this week’s Global Design Project challenge.
This week’s challenge is all about rainbows! You can interpret that any way you want, whether it’s the colours, the theme, actual rainbows!
Here’s a look at this week’s challenge…
Here is a look at my card for this week’s challenge.
I jumped at the chance to use the new Rainbow of Happiness Bundle with those beautiful rainbows.
I really wanted to use bright colours on top of stark white. It really helped to make the colours in my rainbow pop!
To add texture to my white background I have used the brand new Butterflies and Flowers Masks with some Embossing Paste. This paste does not take long to dry and it adds such beautiful texture!
Here is a close up look at the finished card where you can see some of the texture and detail.
I have added the beautiful Silver Epoxy dots which are so cool as they come in tear drop shapes perfect for rain!
I have added some of the white baker’s twine and kept the rest of the card pretty simple as I really wanted the emphasis to be on the fun and bright rainbow!
Here’s a look at the inside of my card where I added another rainbow from some of the left over die cut pieces and kept the layers to black and white for a clean and simple look!
Be sure to head over to the blog and check out the challenge for yourself!
Crafty hugs! x

Hi lovely, thanks so much for your beautiful comment. I have distressed the corner and torn it back a little bit before stapling it down. xx
