Happy November everyone! Thanks for dropping by my blog today.
Who else has something that is outside their crafting comfort zone?
I always see things that I want to try – but just have trouble “jumping in the deep end”
In saying that – I will try most things.
BUT…regal colours tend to be a no go zone for me. They scare me. Haha!
This month the Stamping Society team are featuring projects around the theme of projects out of our comfort zones. I grabbed those regal colours and went to town!
I actually love how it turned out and I even got to use a brand new bundle that is available this month for customers – the Fitting Florets bundle. It is gorgeous!
So join us this month as we are featuring a load of fun projects!
Scroll down to see more about the tutorial that you can either PURCHASE or earn for FREE, with six tutorials in total from the Stamping Society team.

Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
Here is a look at my finished card.
I love these beautiful Fitted Floret frame dies, they nest and work together so beautifully! I have layered them together on this card to create a beautiful focal point for my card – it really works so well with these regal colours.
Here are the colours I have chosen to use on my card…
Technically Mint Macaron is not a Regal colour, but I incorporated it when I was adding my watercolour to my foliage because I needed a lighter colour to add as the Old Olive looked to dark on it’s own.
Here is a close up look at the texture and detail on my card.
I have watercolored my stamped images which I have stamped with StazOn on some Shimmery White Cardstock. I used some Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss on the flowers and then used Mint Macaron and Old Olive on my foliage.
I have embellished with some die cut pieces from the Fitted Florets dies using the foliage dies with some Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry cardstock.
Lastly I have added some spritzing with some Wink of Stella and a coordinating Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker.
Here is a look at the inside of my card where I have added some more stamping, a stamped strip of Cajun Craze and another stamped and watercolored flower. Another of the beautiful sentiments stamped in Memento Black. P.S. Aren’t those sentiments just gorgeous?
This card was so much fun to make. While it did take me out of my comfort zone using these regal colours, I am keen to branch out of my comfort zone and try it again!
