Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
I had so much fun playing with some somewhat fresh colours for me I don’t gravitate towards orange and red, so it was fun to change it up a bit! I went for the bright and bold Real Red and Pumpkin Pie and then softened it down a little with Pale Papaya. I think I am going to try this combo more often!
I really wanted the sentiment to be large and the feature of this card.
I love that the dies come with these beautiful shadow pieces. I have gone tone on tone and made Pale Papaya the feature on this card and then accented with some ombre stamping with my sentiment in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. The Stamparatus is the perfect tool to help with stamping techniques like this!
To add some layers I brought in the gorgeous new Designer Speciality vellum. It’s beautiful to add some texture and softness to a card.
Here is a close up look at my finished card. I had a lot of fun stamping the gorgeous coordinating hearts from the stamp set. To keep with the orange/red theme I decided to stamp them straight on the Pale Papaya cardstock in Calypso Coral.
I have then added some spritzing with a Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write marker and embellished with some rhinestones and sequins.
So much fun!
Here is a look at the inside of my card here I have added some basic layers of Basic White and Pale Papaya with a beautiful strip of that Designer Vellum and Brushed Gold.
I added some fun two step stamping from the Love For You stamp set in Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral and a sentiment stamped in Memento Black.
