Hey guys, long time no talk!
I am back to share a fun card for something I haven’t participated in for a while *my bad*
Life has been busy and hectic and I thought while sitting at my craft desk with a million things running through my head – I needed a challenge!
I popped on to the Global Design Team Project where I am a standing design team member.
We have fun weekly challenges and I decided to jump straight back in.
This week is a fun one – and while I am jumping straight in – I challenge you to as well – come on I dare ya! 😉
Here’s the challenge..
Here’s a look at the fun challenge.
You can find the challenge on the blog here.
Here’s a look at finished card.
I have actually CASE’d a good friend and fellow GDP member and a gorgeous card she featured recently as a starting point for this layout.
She share’d a card using the adorable Hey Chick! bundle last week – so a big shoutout the lovely Susan Wong – as this card was inspired from this gorgeous card here…
I have used a mixture of the coordinating Sweet Ice Cream Designer Series Paper where I have cut the beautiful ice creams and added a strip of Designer Series Paper down the side. The fun scalloped pattern on the edge is actually the ice cream top stamp stamped along the edge in Crumb Cake ink for a fun scalloped pattern! Fun ey?
I have made the middle circle a bit of a shaker with the fun Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles.
These things are adorable. In the catalogue I thought they looked like confetti/paper sprinkles but they are actually rubber/silicone like in texture. ADORABLE!
Here’s a close up of the inside of the card where you can see some of the detail. I have added a fun sentiment and some more ice creams and of course a bit of Wink of Stella!
So what a fun way to start a week with a fun card focused on celebrating treats.
In the Mini Catalogue we have a whole suite focused on fun treat and sweet based products. Be sure to pop over to my store and check them out.
Don’t forget to pop over to the Global Design Project and check out this week’s fun challenge.
Crafty hugs! xx
