I had the recent delight of attending an amazing event hosted by the lovely Kylie Bertucci, Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio & Gina Hawley for an awesome Online Stamping Retreat.
It was a day full of amazing online fun with some awesome projects.
They have hosted two online retreats so far and I have attended both and had loads of fun.
They have another planned so be sure to go and check out the website and the Facebook page to stay up to date – because you won’t want to miss out!
You can actually still purchase the recordings and PDF’s if you check out the website link above

This next card is like the fun fold lovers dream!
WOW! If the pictures scare you, don’t let them – once you get the hang of it – it’s actually not too hard and then it opens up a whole world of creativity – what can you put in that little shadow box?
My brain in buzzing with ideas!

Here is a look at the card outside. This is just a peek of what is to come!
It’s an interesting card because instead of opening from the bottom, it actually opens from the top!
I have decorated my card with quite a few sets and one of my favourite dies – the Dots & Spots – otherwise as Kylie Bertucci calls it – the cheese die – LOL!
I changed the colours up and used Blending Brushes to colour this one with some Starry Sky, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Mango Melody. This somewhat replicates the inside.
I’ve added a simple wave die cut from the wave dies and stamped and die cut a lighthouse from the Lighthouse Point Bundle. I added a little notebook edge cut from the Blossoming Happiness Dies.

Here is a close up look at the finished outside.
I have also spritzed my card with some Whisper White ink refill with a Water Painter. I love this look on darker cardstock.

I will admit first up….this card was so hard to photograph! Haha!
It is a shadow box made with window sheet so you get a little bit of reflection and glare. You might need to scroll through the next few to get a good idea of the finished effect.

In this photo you can really see how that shadow box sits up when the recipient opens the card. It’s so cool!
The background is stamped with the Waves of Inspiration Die and sponged with a mixture of; Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Starry Sky, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Mango Melody to get that beautiful ocean/sunset skyline. It’s beautiful. The die cut waves then sits over the top in the shadow box and it’s stunning!

Here you can see some more of that shadow box effect. The whole shadow box is cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, although really you could use what ever dies you like. So many possibilities.
I had so much fun making this magic card created by Bruno Bertucci!
Make sure you check out the link above to the Online Stamping Retreat where you can learn how to make this card and so many more!
Until next time,
Crafty hugs. xx
