Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
Here is a look at my finished card.
I had so much fun putting this card together. I have combined the stunning Whimsical Trees Bundle with the Layering Diorama Dies to create a little ‘scene’ for my trees.
My main inspiration for my card was creating a ‘rainbow forest’. I wanted something bright and FUN!
This all came together nicely when I paired the dies with the stunning Rainbow Glimmer Paper from the annual catalogue and paired it with Basic Black highlights to make the colour really POP!
For my Diorama, I have used two sizes of the dies, cutting the largest out of the Basic White and then going one size smaller to cut another frame out of Black Glitter to create a matt frame underneath.
This card features a lot of glitz and glam!
Here is a close up of the finished card. You can see some faint ‘dots’ in the background which I have achieved by stamping one of the tree dies with the dots lightly over the background in Coastal Cabana.
I then embellished with some baubles cut from Gold Foil, some Subtle Shimmer Sequins and some of the gold Simply Elegant Trim.
My sentiment is heat embossed in white on black.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card which I have kept simple with layers of Basic White and Basic Black. I added a thin strip of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper and some basic stamping. I coloured the baubles with some Stampin’ Blends in coordinating colours; Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Blackberry Bliss and Bermuda Bay.
I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyment out of today’s card share.
