Hello everyone…welcome to June!
This month we are featuring something exciting…the brand new In colours!
I don’t know if you have seen them floating around because we have all been excitedly sharing them on our projects – but we have had five new colours join the Stampin’ Up! colour family and I am so excited as they are all so adorable!
Here’s a look at our five adorable new colours…
So this month we are featuring an array of projects all featuring the brand new colours.
So be sure to have fun on this month’s blog hop seeing some fun projects featuring them all and be sure to check out our fabulous tutorial (see below) for even more ways to use them including step by step instructions and video tutorials!
What is Stamping Society?
It’s a monthly tutorial bundle from six different designers all over the world and each month we do a blog hop featuring a certain theme or product and then put together a tutorial and video which you can either purchase, earn for free on our teams or earn for FREE as one of our customers.
See the bottom of this post for more information on that.
The lovely designers on the team are:
Martin Stone: UK
Ashley Fifer: Canada
Angela Meiritz-Reid: New Zealand
Charlet Mallett: USA
Danielle Bennenk: Netherlands
Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
Here’s a look at my finished card.
I have used some adorable small strips of all of the colours except Evening Evergreen and used one of the dies from the Hand Penned Petals Bundle (the scalloped border) to create a fun strip of coloured strips.
I have used this with the GORGEOUS Shimmer Vellum (this stuff is AMAZING – the shimmer has to be seen in person to be believed.
I have then used the gorgeous dies from the Hand Penned Petals bundle to create this cute floral image using some Basic Black and Fresh Freesia.
The card itself was quite simple and easy to make.
I have kept the embellishments simple with a small Linen Thread Bow, some of the Loose Flower Flourishes (these are so cute and easy to miss in the new Annual Catalogue).
I have also added some of the cute In Colour Jewels.
Of course I have added some Wink of Stella spritzes. It wouldn’t be a Kayla card without it.
Here’s a look at the inside of the card, which is simple with layers of Basic Black and Basic White, some Shimmer Vellum and some stamping from the Hand Penned Bundle in Memento Black and Fresh Freesia.
I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyment out of today’s card share.
Be sure to hop along to all the other blogs and check them out for loads more inspiration:
