Hello everyone…welcome to March! It’s a big month here and I am so excited to be taking part in another Stamping Society blog hop and tutorial. This month we are focusing on our favourite suite from the Mini Catalogue. Each of the six design team members has focused on a different suite from the catalogue – so you are getting a mixture of everything!
So exciting!
This month we also have a brand new design team member – the lovely Charlet Mallett from the USA! This is because we also said goodbye to the lovely Kelly Acheson!
This month I decided to focus on the lovely Snail Mail suite of products. I just couldn’t resist the beautiful and fun bright colours and fun snails! I chose to make some fun notecards for today’s blog post and below you will be able to see a sneak peek of the fun card I made for the tutorial.
What is Stamping Society?
It’s a monthly tutorial bundle from six different designers all over the world and each month we do a blog hop featuring a certain theme or product and then put together a tutorial and video which you can either purchase, earn for free on our teams or earn for FREE as one of our customers.
See the bottom of this post for more information on that.
The lovely designers on the team are:
Martin Stone: UK
Ashley Fifer: Canada
Angela Meiritz-Reid: New Zealand
Charlet Mallett: USA
Danielle Bennenk: Netherlands
Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
Here’s a look at the completed notecards.
I have made two as they are so quick and simple to make and so I just quickly made two!
These fun and simple smaller notecards are a quick and simple fun project to make.
I have used the fun Blending Brushes and some Coastal Cabana Ink to make a base to sit my snail on.
I have then added some strips of the Snail Designer Series Paper and some Silver Foil.
I stamped my snail in Memento Black Ink and have coloured these with a mixture of; Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends. I have then added some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to my snails. I have die cut these out using the corresponding dies and adhered these to my cards with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here’s a close up look at my finished cards.
I have added some stamped hearts using Coastal Cabana Ink using the coordinating snail stamp set. I used the ‘Hello’ sentiment which I have heat embossed in white and added to a black speech bubble.
I have also spritzed some Wink of Stella over the background.
Here’s another close up.
I have embellished with some of the coordinating Resin Hearts and some Basic Rhinestones.
You can also see a sneak peek of the coordinating envelopes here. I have used one of the included stamps “Happy Mail Enclosed” and stamped in Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay and used a Blending Brush to also add some colour lightly to the edges for a bit of added and coordinated fun!
I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyment out of today’s card share.
