Hello everyone…welcome to another month of Stamping Society.
This month we are featuring all things Sale-a-Bration. You may be wondering what is Sale-a-Bration or sometimes by Stamping Up! people referred to as SAB – well it’s only just the BEST sale of the Stampin’ Up! calendar. It’s the time of year where you get a gift just for shopping directly from Stampin’ Up! They make exclusive gifts for us all to enjoy.
This month the Stamping Society team have featured tutorials using all the exclusive products to share with you all. How fun is that?
I couldn’t resist using the gorgeous donkeys for today’s post which is also featured as part of tutorial in the bundle that you can either purchase, or earn for FREE by shopping with me or joining my team (see below). The donkeys are so gorgeous and so FUN!
What is Stamping Society?
It’s a monthly tutorial bundle from six different designers all over the world and each month we do a blog hop featuring a certain theme or product and then put together a tutorial and video which you can either purchase, earn for free on our teams or earn for FREE as one of our customers.
See the bottom of this post for more information on that.
The lovely designers on the team are:
Martin Stone: UK
Ashley Fifer: Canada
Angela Meiritz-Reid: New Zealand
Kelly Acheson: USA
Danielle Bennenk: Netherlands
Let’s have a look at todays’ fun project…
Here’s a look at my finished project.
I actually couldn’t help myself and chose to feature TWO Sale-a-Bration products on todays’ card and also snuck in the Flower and Field 12×12 Designer Series Paper. Yep! – you can also earn papers FREE during Sale-a-Bration.
I have chosen to use these rather bold designs in a more subtle fashion by cutting them into strips and using them on my background.
I varied the strip sizes between 1/2″ and 3/4″ to mix up the sizing.
I have stamped my donkey onto a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and coloured him a mixture of Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Gray Granite and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I have then cut my donkey out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. A go to die cutting tool for me!
Here’s a close up of the finished card.
I chose to embellish with some of the beautiful Bumblebee Gingham ribbon in a beautiful big bow and embellish with some of the Forever Gold Laser Cut Pieces.
I have also added some of the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots.
For my sentiment I actually used one of the sentiments from the Many Messages Bundle which features in the new Mini Catalogue. I just adore this bundle because it’s one giant stamp with one giant die – and you can stamp and die cut so many messages all at once!
I think it’s a must have!!!
Of course I also added some Wink of Stella Spritzing!
I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyment out of today’s card share.
