You Are Awesome ~ Sale-a-Bration ~ Kylie’s International Project Highlights

Hello and thanks for dropping by my blog today.
I am so excited to be taking part in the fabulous Kylie Bertucci’s Monthly International Blog Highlights. I see these pop up and I knew that this month was a better time than any to take part with all this fabulous crafty inspiration going on with Sale-a-Bration keeping me inspired – but also all the fresh inspiration that I am seeing flowing around the Stampin’ Up! community.

I am really excited to be sharing with you a card that I made this week that was actually inspired by a technique tip that Stampin’ Up! shared on their social media about colouring the gorgeous Be Dazzling 6×6 Specialty Paper using the Stampin’ Spritzers.
When I saw it…I just knew that I had to give it a go.
I have used that as inspiration in today’s card and if you scroll down, you can see a two and a half minute video where I show just how I put this card together.

I have combined that fabulous ‘disco ball’ paper with a Stampin’ Spritzer, a Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Ink refill and some rubbing alcohol to create the ‘magic mix’ that allowed me to change up the colour and really make a fun background.

I then combined all this together with some other new products – the Intricate Leaves dies which I have cut in a mixture of Copper Foil, Magenta Madness and Coastal Cabana for a fun colour combination. I have added all of this onto a grounding of some black & white circles cut from the Layering Circles Dies.

You can really see just how much this card shines.

To accent I have added a sentiment from the Many Messages Bundle – but used the brand new sentiment addition to this bundle – Many Happenings.
I love that Stampin’ Up! have given us even more by adding a new sentiment stamp set to combine with this bundle.

I have added a beautiful big Baker’s Twine bow which I changed up by adding some Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends to the end to ‘dip dye’ the colour. How fun does this look?

Finally I added some of the Artistry Blooms sequins for a fun touch and some Wink of Stella, because who doesn’t need more sparkle?
