Do you all have a favourite season? I know that I do and I have to say all my favourite Autumn products come out when we are heading into the warmer Summer months here in Australia — but I don’t care because I love the feelings and the colours so much from these beautiful suites/products. The Changing Leaves Bundle has been sitting on my shelf and it has been going in and out of stock so much due to its popularity as it is an Online Exclusive! I didn’t know how much longer it is guaranteed to stay in stock so I decided to let it shine this week and combine it with the Autumn Expressions Stamp and Country Woods Designer Series Paper to make this fun Z Fold Bridge Card!

Here is a look at the finished Z Fold Bridge design! This card drew my attention as it was so dimensional!!! Even better though – it fits into a standard sized envelope! I love fun fold designs like this.
This design was quite intriguing to me as it combined the idea of a Z Fold with a ‘half’ bridge design and was a lot of fun.

I kept the attention and focal points to the top right and bottom left which really draw the eye in to frame the middle centre point/sentiment. I love how it really frames the design.

The Beautiful Autumnal Colours

Of course being an Autumnal themed card I brought out this beautiful Autumn inspired palette – which is actually one of the reasons that I LOVE this season so much. The changing of the leaves, the season and the beautiful rich and warm colours has my heart! Add a touch of gold and this is just gorgeous!

Here are some close ups of the finished design. It is really hard to capture the dimension and 3D design of this card – it is just so much fun!

I added a whole variety of different techniques and ideas on this card from; Stampin’ Blends colouring, soft ink blending, embossing and heat embossing – also with a touch of hand stitching.

You see all the texture and beautiful dimension here. I love the beautiful textured feel of the jute trim where I have tied a simple bow to the right hand side and have also added hand stitched look with adding some of the Copper Clay Linen Thread through the holes of the beautiful circle die in the centre. Coupled with the elements and texture added from the Woven Gold Leaves and Faux Glass Dots – this was just a delight to put together!

You can see here how easily this card folds down to fit into a standard sized envelope which is a feature that I love about fun fold designs like this fun!
I also wanted to add a place to write a message to the recipient, so have added a simple panel to the back side of the card with some soft blending and simple stamping.
