Today’s theme is seriously bringing ALL the cosy childhood feels — “Through the Eyes of a Child” — and I mean… how could I not go straight to gingerbread cookies, candy canes, and all things sugary + whimsical? 😍

Christmas as a kid felt magical, didn’t it? I jumped straight to memories of creating gingerbread people and gingerbread houses with my younger sister.
Here are the photo memories of my younger sister and I that I found…wow, what a throwback. I was 19 years old here and an avid scrapbooker so took photos of everything!

So today’s card is inspired by sweet Christmas memories — baking, treats, and little festive traditions that felt HUGE when we were tiny!

My Card — a Happy Gingerbread themed card

I had SO much fun crafting this little gingerbread cutie, complete with textured icing and hand stitching, peppermint background details, and a cosy mug moment ☕🍪
The sentiment “baking spirits bright” just felt perfect for this playful theme.
