There’s something extra special about creating with fresh colour combinations — and these two floral cards were all about celebrating beautiful blends of Stampin’ Up! In Colours. I reached for the Lovely Arrangements Bundle and had so much fun layering colour, texture and a little bit of ribbon to bring these designs to life.

Both cards were also featured in a recent live video (you’ll find the YouTube replay below), where I shared the process, colour inspiration and some of my favourite tips for building layered floral focal points.

Playing with Stampin’ Up! In Colours

For these cards I mixed a variety of In Colours, including some from the 2024–2026 In Colour collection — which makes this project feel extra special as those shades will be retiring soon.

One design leans into bold, sunshine tones with warm pink accents using some of my favourites from the 2025-2027 In Colours, while the other takes a softer direction with teal and fresh floral hues using my favourites from the soon to be retired 2024-2025 In Colour collection. Using the same bundle but changing colour palettes is one of my favourite ways to stretch supplies and show how versatile a single set can be.

I love how the Lovely Arrangements dies create instant depth — the layered flowers, scalloped shapes and delicate details do so much of the work for you, making it easy to build a statement focal point.

Texture, Layers & Little Details

If you know me, you know I can’t resist adding dimension
These cards are full of tiny touches that elevate the design:

• Die cut backgrounds for subtle texture
• Ink blending around the edges for a soft glow
• Ribbon loops tucked behind the floral clusters
• Die-cut leaves to frame the focal image

Those little layers add interest without overwhelming the design — and they’re perfect for experimenting with colour combinations.

Creating these cards reminded me how much joy comes from simply playing with colour. The Lovely Arrangements Bundle makes it easy to design eye-catching florals, and mixing current In Colours with those soon retiring felt like the perfect way to give them one last creative moment.
