If you love a card with dimension… this one is such a fun one to try!
Today I’m sharing a Bay Window fun fold card created using the Stampin’ Up! Cute as a Bug suite, and I am obsessed with how this design creates a little “scene” across the front of the card.

What is a Bay Window Card?

This style of card folds in a way that creates angled panels across the front—almost like a little window display.

It’s one of those designs that:
– looks super impressive
– adds instant dimension
– but is actually really simple once you break it down

And honestly… the Cute as a Bug suite is perfect for this because it lets you build a playful little story across each panel 🐞✨

Playing with Colouring Techniques

One of my favourite parts of this card was mixing up my colouring ✨
For this project I used:

• Stampin’ Blends to colour the stamped bug images
• Watercolouring on the die cut elements (like those adorable toadstools 🍄)

Combining both techniques adds so much interest and gives each element its own unique look.
It’s such a fun reminder that you don’t have to stick to just one colouring style—mixing them together creates something really special.

All the Little Details

This card is all about layering and building a scene:

• cute critters across the panels
• soft patterned papers from the suite
• dimensional die cuts for added texture

And of course… that sweet sentiment across the front ties it all together 💕
The bay window design is such a great way to:

• showcase multiple elements without overcrowding
• create movement across your card front
• and make something that really stands out when displayed

It folds flat for mailing, but pops into shape when opened—best of both worlds 🙌
