If you love a bold colour combo with a little bit of drama, this card is going to be right up your alley.
Today’s project features the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Garden Poetry suite, paired with a rich and vibrant colour palette: Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss. This combo is such a standout—deep, moody greens with pops of bright pinks and fresh citrus tones…I am obsessed.

One of my favourite things about this card is the background. I used an embossed panel in Shaded Spruce to create that subtle leafy texture, which adds so much depth without overwhelming the focal point. It’s one of those details that really elevates the whole design.
This suite includes a hybrid embossing folder with coordinating dies that helps you achieve this embossed but partial die cut look. Amazing!

From there, I built up a layered cluster of stamped florals and foliage. The mix of Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss gives beautiful dimension to the flowers, while Lemon Lime Twist keeps everything feeling fresh and vibrant.

To ground all those layers, I added a bold black sentiment strip with white embossing—“you make the world a better place”. This creates a strong focal point and helps balance the richness of the colours behind it.

A few enamel dots and subtle ink splatter bring everything together, adding just the right amount of detail without taking away from the main design.
Inside the card, I kept things simple with a coordinating stamped floral detail in the corner—perfect for tying the whole project together while leaving plenty of space for your message.

This card is such a fun reminder that bold colours and lots of layers can still feel balanced and elegant when you bring everything together thoughtfully.
