We recently celebrated a pretty special milestone at The Stamping Lounge — our 2nd birthday! … and of course, we couldn’t celebrate without getting crafty!

For our birthday party, we brought back one of our favourite challenges — Ready, Steady, Craft!
The concept is simple… we spin the crafting wheel and let fate decide what we have to create!

For my challenge, the wheel landed on

here is my finished card

I combined the brand-new Buffalo Check Hot Foil Die with the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Die, added the Words & Wishes Bundle, and pulled everything together using Sketch #30 from The Stamping Lounge Sketch Box.

And honestly… I LOVE how it turned out!

The sketch box made pulling the design together so much easier. When you’re given a few creative parameters AND a sketch to work from, suddenly that dreaded “what am I going to make?” feeling disappears!

I must admit I was pretty happy to have spun the challenge of creating with hot foil! It’s one of my current crafty obsessions and these hot foil dies are just gorgeous!
