Stampin’ Up! – Forever Fern – #GDP350

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today.
I am excited to share another Global Design Project challenge with you – a fun sketch challenge!

This sketch is so beautiful and simple, great to interpret in so many ways.

I had a lot of fun playing with the beautiful new Stylish Shapes Dies and Charming Sentiments bundle combined with one of my favourite older bundles – Forever Fern.
This has to be one of my favourite bundles of all time!

I really wanted to accentuate that beautiful big circle in the sketch design and decided to make a bit of ‘focal point’ design with a layered aperture that is dimensional.

this gave me a fun design to incorporate lots of the beautiful Forever Fern images stamped in a variety of Stampin’ Up! greens!
I used Sponge Daubers to apply a multitude of colours to each image.

Here is a close up of the finished design where you can see some of the detail.
I have also added some of the detailed dies cut out of Shaded Spruce and Parakeet Party cardstocks.

I used the beautiful new Charming Sentiments bundle from the new annual catalogue which I have heat embossed in white on some Basic Black cardstock. I love that these come with dies to cut out these fun sentiment. So quick and easy.

I embellished my card with some of the gorgeous new In Colour Opal rounds. These would have to be one of my favourite new embellishments. They have adorable sparkles inside of them – so cute!

Here’s a look at the inside of my card which I have kept relatively simple with some fun stamping in the bottom right and top left corners.
