Good morning and Happy Tuesday to everyone.
I am excited to be writing a post and sharing another fun project for the lovely Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights.
This is such a fun blog hop because it features creativity from all around the globe.
Be sure to pop over here to the post to see a whole load of inspiration!
I wanted to have a play with one of the bundles from the new Annual Catalogue which just says FUN – this beautiful new Sweetest Cherries bundle is just adorable and even cooler – it comes with a punch! So quick and easy!
I was actually inspired by a colour combination shared on Global Design project recently to use; Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink and Starry Sky together. How fun!
I made a background from my cherries by stamping Petal Pink cherries straight on top of Petal Pink cardstock for a tone on tone look and added the stalks stamped in Sweet Sorbet for a pop of colour.
I wanted a little bit of a matte for my sentiment to sit on so I used one of the beautiful dies from the Chic dies which are from a beautiful new suite called Texture Chic. The cool part is I have cut this from one of our new speciality papers – ROSE GOLD. I am in love!
Here is a close up of the finished card where you can see some of the detail.
I added some beautiful Sweet Sorbet Bakers Twine, some metallic Starry Sky ribbon and some In Colour Matte Dots to embellish.
There’s so much going on with this card but that’s just me! I love to embellish.
Here’s a look at the inside which I kept super simple with some Starry Sky Designer Series Paper, another stamped cherry layered on some Basic White and Petal Pink.
I had so much fun putting together this friendship/thank you card.
I can never make enough of these because this is what I love about Stampin’ Up! and card making – brightening peoples mailboxes for no particular reason at all. Spreading the love.
Be sure to pop over to the post and check out all the other fun projects and if you liked mine – I would love your vote.
Crafty hugs! xx
