Hello lovely stampers and anyone that has popped by my blog today, today I am participating in Kylie Bertucci’s fabulous Monthly International Blog Highlights. A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of attending Kylie & Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio and Gina Hawley’s Amazing Online Stamping Retreat where they had the most amazing presentation of these fabulous cards! Today I am sharing one of the FABULOUS cards that learned at the retreat which was none other than one of the fabulous Kylie herself’s cards. This fabulous pop up panel card is a fun fold style card that I made with the Gorgeously Made bundle and I can’t wait to share how fun this interactive style card came together.

Here is a look at the finished Pop Up Panel Card. This is what the front of the card looks like when it is closed with the belly band keeping it shut. I love the look of the beautiful Oxidised Specialty Paper and the gorgeous foiled look when it catches the light, which whilst it is hard to photograph – you can still catch the effect and detail a little bit here.

Using the Stylish Shapes dies I cut a circle for my belly band which I added some detail by using a Blending Brush with some Pretty Peacock Ink – I find that this adds some extra depth and tone rather than using Pretty Peacock cardstock. I also used the gorgeous text/writing stamp from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set (this is probably my favourite style of stamp!) with some Gold Heat embossing.

Mix and Match the Suites

The Oxidised Copper paper is actually taken from the gorgeous All About Autumn Suite and the original card that Kylie demonstrated actually used the Everlasting Beauty Stamp Set which I didn’t own but I decided to mix and match and used the Gorgeously Made Bundle. The beauty of Stampin’ Up! is that you can mix and match products and suites. The colour coordination with Stampin’ Up! is one of the things I love most about the products! I die cut one of the dies with some Pretty Peacock Glimmer Paper from the brand new Online Exclusives shown below and coloured some beautiful vellum with some Stampin’ Blends. I added some Blooming Pearls from another suite which were perfect because these also were featured the Pretty Peacock colour – everything matches so well! Colour coordination is the best!

I embellished my belly band with some dies cut from the Gorgeously Made Dies (coloured with a Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blend) and some Pretty Peacock Glimmer and embellished with some Natural Ribbon and lastly decorated with some Blooming Pearls. The pearls have such a beautiful sheen to them.
I did add some Wink of Stella spritzing to my card with added some beautiful glittery sheen.

This is where the magic of the pop up card happens. When you open the card, it pops open to reveal a little panel while the back pops into a ‘V’, how cute is that? It sits to stay open on display in all its beauty!

You can choose to have these both as writing panels or have one as a decorative panel – the choice is yours.

I chose to add both of these with the Basic White cardstock and add some blending with some Pretty Peacock ink and add some collage stamping with the stamps from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set with some Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon Inks. I then added another die cut using the Pretty Peacock die with the glimmer paper.

Here is a look at just how dimensional the pop up is from the top. Another cool thing to mention about the pop up panel card is that you can choose just how dimensional the card will be but how far apart you choose to adhere that writing panel on the pop up panel card.
