I was so excited to attend the Online Stamping Retreat run by the lovely Kylie & Bruno Bertucci, Lisa Curcio & Gina Hawley back at the end of October – I am finally getting around to blogging the projects that I made! These retreats are magical! I was so excited by the amazing cards that we got to create at this fun retreat because they are always nothing short of amazing! I have been sharing a few of my projects, so be sure to check out my recent posts on my blog as I have shared a few!
Today I have a card to share that I created in the class from the fabulously talented Lisa Curcio herself where we created a Pull Out Slider Card featuring the cutest Festive & Fun Stamp Set which was so much fun to colour with the Stampin’ Blends! a look at the finished pull out slider card…

Here is a look at the finished pull out slider card, isn’t this fun? I will admit – I have never seen a card like this before! It was so much to make. I really enjoyed making this card a little bit whimsical, fun and funky with the adorable Festive & Fun Stamp Set, which was loads of fun to colour with Stampin’ Blends. You can find all the colours that I used to colour this adorable image listed in the supply list below. I did fussy cut this image out as it doesn’t have a die set, but I think it was totally worth it!

The fun shapes to create this pull out slider card are from the Countryside Corner die set from the Annual Catalogue. These are such an essential die set and have so many uses beyond the Countryside Inn Suite collection – I would buy it just for the dies! You can find them in my store here.

the colour inspiration…

The colours for this card are quite different for me! I wanted something a little different, a little bold and bright! The Crushed Curry and Real Red with the rich and warm tones and toned down with the cooler blues/greens from the Pool Party and Lemon Lime Twist work well together. I love how it turned out.

Here is a look at the magic of the pull out slider card and just how it works! This is what I love about the Online Stamping Retreats, you get to learn so many magical fun folds like this one – I would never have thought to do something like this! Lisa is such a magical genius! This is so much fun! You can slide this card up and it reveals not one but TWO additional sentiments – how cool is that?

I used the dotty embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders which are available in the Online Exclusives range. flip it over and you have some more room to add writing…

Here is a look at the reverse side of the card where I have added an additional die cut Countryside Corner die which has been die cut from Basic White Thick Cardstock. This provides an additional space to write a greeting or message since there isn’t much space to write. I know that I love to write long messages! The cute little deer/moose also looks super cute so I added him to the reverse side with one of the adorable sentiments.

I had so much fun making Lisa’s beautiful card. I love Lisa’s awesome creativity.
