I had so much fun at a recent craft retreat run by the lovely Chrissy Graham and Sharni Haines called Soiree By The Sea focused on using the Country Woods Suite.
This was an in person retreat but was also offered with an at home option, which was amazing. Sometimes I feel a bit burnt out creatively and love to just follow along with something pre-designed and attend craft classes and retreats myself. Chrissy & Sharni hosted a beautiful event and had a gorgeous package full of amazing goodies.
Today I am sharing the fun project (& bonus project) that I made in Chrissy Graham’s class which was a fun loaded envelope. I hadn’t made one of these loaded envelopes before so I was very excited to give it a go and learn how to make one.

THE BEAUTIFUL BASKET OF AT HOME GOODIES

Here is a look at my finished loaded envelope project. Doesn’t it look gorgeous with the Country Woods suite? I just love how Chrissy designed this fun project.
I had never tried a loaded envelope but the idea of making one had always intrigued me so I was excited when I saw this was one of the retreat projects.

If you have never seen one of these loaded envelopes before the idea of it is creating an ‘envelope’ from some Designer Series Paper and then incorporating many pockets which you tuck lots of treats and goodies in.

part one: the mini memories & more cards

Chrissy designed these super fun MINI Memories & More cards that just tuck into the front of the loaded envelope and are a perfect gift to give to someone to pass on. I loved that one of these cards had a nifty fun fold design that is suitable to hold a gift card.

part two: some beautiful pull out tags

These tags were so much fun to create with lots of vintage vibe with the ribbon and torn paper. This gorgeous Petal Pink and white diagonal stripe ribbon is also perfect to colour with the Stampin’ Blends.

part three – some cute tuck in gifts!

This pictures shows the fun loaded envelope that I made at the Soiree By The Sea retreat. This particular picture shows the fun Ferrero Rocher treat and personalised pencil made to tuck into the envelope.

These little tuck in surprises were adorable to make with that cute skewer stick holding a Ferrero Rocher. What a cute idea that is! The beautiful pencil is actually wrapped with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. What a fun way to personalise a pencil as a gift.

part four – some larger memories & more cards

Next in the larger pocket goes these larger sized Memories & More cards.
I didn’t mention that the cards actually feature the Basics Memories & More cards & envelopes as well as the Thoughtful Journey Memories & More cards. The Memories & More range is not only great for memory keeping but also for quick & easy card making.

and finally a hidden pocket at the back of the loaded envelope

I loved this cute surprise pocket hidden at the back of the loaded envelope that includes yet more surprises and a mini envelope with a fun chocolate.

Isn’t this little 3D bird house so cute? This was the bonus project that we made. The Country Birdhouse Dies work together with a little handmade box to make this adorable little bird house gift box. So adorable and even cuter when the little birdhouse has a peep hole to see what is inside.
