I had so much fun at a recent craft retreat run by the lovely Chrissi Graham and Sharni Haines called Soiree By The Sea focused on using the Country Woods Suite.
This was an in person retreat but was also offered with an at home option, which was amazing. Sometimes I feel a bit burnt out creatively and love to just follow along with something pre-designed and attend craft classes and retreats myself. Chrissi & Sharni hosted a beautiful event and had a gorgeous package full of amazing goodies. Today I am sharing the project I made in Sharni’s beautiful class making a product sampler with the Stampin’ Up! Country Woods collection.
I had never made a product sampler before, so I had a load of fun trying something new!

Check out that gorgeous bundle of goodies that came with all the class supplies, pillow gifts, product giveaways and just lovely goodness. Chrissi & Sharni went above and beyond with organising this retreat and so much beautiful prep.

Here is a look at the finished product sampler. I love this idea of making a full 12×12″ page but ‘blocking’ it into shapes and using each as a feature of the product from a suite but having it all come together as a coordinating page. What a great way to not only showcase products but also to make a gorgeous home decor piece.

I can’t wait to feature this page in my craft room in a shadow box. It’s a great way to make a gorgeous piece for your craft room or home and I can’t wait to make a bit of a feature wall in my craft room with other pieces like the Happy Houseplants Kit.

This is an overlook of most of the gorgeous colours featured in the product sampler. There is also a touch of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow that you can see in some of the elements.

These pictures show some close ups of the finished project. There is A LOT of dimension on this project which fits perfectly as it doesn’t have to be posted and is a display piece. I love working with dimension and different textures and projects like this are perfect for doing this!
