I always love learning new interactive folds during creative events and this Alternating Pop Up Panel card from the recent Online Stamping Retreat was such a fun project to make!

This fold was taught by the talented Lisa Curcio and Gina Hawley, and I decided to recreate mine using the Stampin’ Up! Help Me Grow Bundle (inspired by Lisa’s version) along with the beautiful Nature Walk Designer Series Paper.

Garden Inspired Details

For the front of the card, I created a layered gardening scene featuring foliage, potted plants, garden tools and lots of texture. The deep blended teal background helps the die cuts really stand out and I finished it with gold splatter and twine details for extra interest.
The “You Help Me Grow” sentiment tied the entire theme together perfectly.

The Interactive Inside

The real surprise happens when the card opens to reveal the alternating pop up panels inside. Each section folds and expands to create a dimensional interactive effect while showcasing more patterned paper and coordinating die cuts.

It is such a clever fold and makes the card feel extra special for the recipient.

The earthy greens, browns and teal tones worked beautifully together for this nature-inspired design.

I had so much fun creating this card and adding my own spin to the fold using the Help Me Grow Bundle. Interactive cards always create such a wow moment and this design is perfect for birthdays, thank you cards or encouragement cards.

Online Stamping Retreat happens a few times a year & I’d definitely recommend checking them out. Whilst this particular retreat is closed – they do open them up to register after upcoming events. Be sure to add yourself to the wait list.
