Welcome to another Artisan Blog Hop, this time featuring the gorgeous Sunshine & Rainbows Photopolymer Bundle.
We all had so much fun playing with these gorgeous rainbows and the fun builder stamp set and coordinating framelits.
I love that you can make such fun and happy cards with this bundle and really literally brighten someones day. Everyone needs a bit of sunshine and a rainbow in their life.
I took the theme of ‘brightening someone’s day’ literally and decided to make a gift set of cards to give to someone so they can literally pass on the sunshine to other people in their life.
These Acetate Card Boxes make gifting cards a breeze, and I love them for this purpose.
This would make a really good gift to give to a friend, a relative, a customer or even give away as a prize for something.
I accented my rainbows and clouds with the gorgeous Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes which have the cutest little raindrop shaped epoxy shapes. They really help finish these cards off!

Here’s a look at the finished acetate box with all the cards, coordinating envelopes decorated with some gorgeous Design Series Paper from the Petal Passion suite. Completed with some fluffy clouds, a rainbow and some of the gorgeous Black Shimmer Ribbon.
I must admit I am a little addicted to using ribbons and I love tying bows on EVERYTHING!
Here is the completed set of four cards I made to go inside.
I decided to mix it up a little and create two cards using the Framelits to build a rainbow and on the other two cards I used the beautiful stripey rainbow stamps from the Sunshine & Rainbows Photopolymer Stamps set.
Believe it or not it has obviously been too long since I went to school, so I was sitting at my craft desk singing the rainbow song trying to remember the order of colours that the rainbow went in. Of course you don’t have to follow the exact rules because in crafting there are no rules!
Here’s a close up of one of my cards making a rainbow using the stamps.
The biggest tip I have for this (after much frustration) is to use the matching framelits to help you line up the photopolymer stamps so that they stamp in the correct curve. I didn’t do this at first and had no ends of trouble trying to get my rainbow right.
This is a close up of one of the cards I made using the Framelits to create a rainbow from cardstock. I love how this turned out and I was in a really glittery and sunshine themed mood so I even added some clear wink of stella to my rainbow pieces for more shine!
To finish the set off I created some coordinating envelopes with some clouds and sunshine to go with my cards to gift.
I always decorate my envelopes these days. I figure if you spend all that time creating a handmade card that it doesn’t take too long to make a coordinating envelope to match!
Here’s a look at the front of my hand stamped envelopes. I created a layered cloud look by stamping off the clouds twice and stamping them, with one of the clouds stamped at full strength in Soft Sky.
Here’s a look at the back of the envelopes which I decided to repeatedly stamp one of the sentiments ‘Wishing You a Sunny Day’ in Daffodil Delight all over the back flap of the envelope.
I usually add Designer Series Paper to the backs of my envelopes but decided to use the repetitive stamping technique here for something a bit different.
