Hello there lovely people!
Happy Good Friday, I hope that you are still able to celebrate Easter with the people you love in some way or another, whether that even be by phone call!
I know that I am really appreciating the technology of Zoom and FaceTime right now in so many aspects!
Today I have something fun to share with you using the beautiful Botanical Prints Medley.
I was a bit baffled by this medley at first and not too sure where to start, but once I got started I was in LOVE!
The thing that I love most about our gorgeous product medleys is that you get everything you need in one great kit to make projects!
This medley is no exception with stunning stamps, dies, paper, embellishments and even ribbon!
I have added some extra bits and bobs which you will see below, but it sure is a great starting point.
I have made cards previously using the medley and they are all shared here on my blog so be sure to check them out.
Here’s a look at the finished card.
I was in LOVE with that black and white striped patterned paper.
I am a HUGE black and white stripe fan. I just love it. That was where the starting point for this card happened, but I wanted to change it up.
All I did to change it up a little is sponge some Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana Inks on top of the patterned paper, working from darkest to lightest for an ombre look.
I have then stamped one of the beautiful images and coloured this with a mixture of Stampin’ Blends including; Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lovely Lipstick and Pretty Peacock. Quite an interesting colour combination but so worth it!
I have then added some ribbon which I decided to bring in the beautiful Pretty Peacock Scalloped Edged Ribbon and the Linen Thread.
I have also added some die cut foliage cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock.
As you can see from the close up I have added some beautiful Champagne Rhinestones and some of the absolutely stunning copper dragonflies.
Of course I have also added some Clear Wink of Stella *wink*
You can’t tell too well from this photograph, but the sentiment is also copper embossed on one of the included die cut tags.
I have also decorated the inside of the card with layers of Basic Black and Whisper White, adding one of the die cut corners from the coordinating dies, cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock.
I have also die cut and coloured another one of the stamped images
(if anyone knows what that is an image of please tell me!! I would love to know!)
and I have coloured that slightly different than the one I have used on the card front.
I hope you enjoyed a little look at today’s card as a quick share.
