Christmas Gleaming ~ Merry Christmas Card

Hello and welcome back to my blog. I meant to pop on here last week but wedding planning and last minute preparations have been crazy!

I wanted to pop on and share this card that I made (totally CASE’d from the Holiday Catalogue by the way) using the beautiful Brightly Gleaming suite of products and that absolutely SUPER FANTASTIC new metallic Delicata ink – that ink has been super popular and has been flying out the door, so if you want some – I’d get in quick!

I made this card for a recent workshop that I held at the lovely Sue’s house to really show off how easy our bundles with punches are and to showcase that amazing ink!

I actually used a layer of fabulous Shaded Spruce, which is such a lovely green and added a panel of Whisper White which I had stamped on with the holly stamp with that gorgeous gold ink.
Just give those stamped images a minute to dry and you will get no smearing at all. To add extra sparkle, I did colour the holly berries with some Wink of Stella after the stamped images had dried. It really does sparkle!

Then I stamped one of the gorgeous baubles on a scrap of thick Whisper White in Memento black ink and coloured this with the gorgeous Shaded Spruce light and dark Stampin’ Blends!

To finish off I stamped that sentiment in the Gold Delicata ink,. For a solid stamp like the ‘Merry Christmas’ – you do need to make sure that you ink it up well.

To finish off I have added some Linen Thread and some gorgeous Holiday Basic Rhinestones in assorted coordinating colours.

Of course I couldn’t leave the inside blank, so I have added my usual two layers of cardstock and stamped a matching sentiment to the inside.
