Crazy Crafters Blog Hop ~ Featuring Billie Moan

Hello lovely blog readers, I am back again today with a card I made for the Crazy Crafters blog hop where we are featuring card CASE’s from the lovely Billie Moan.

I was actually really inspired by her ‘Billie Bows’ which are achieved by wrapping the twine around your fingers using 2 fingers, then 3 then 4.

She actually has a video showing this technique which you can see here.

(she also has a really nifty linen thread storage idea on that video) and coincidentally I saw a card which totally inspired this one. It’s the first time I have actually used this Bloomin’ Hearts die.

I have sponged my heart on shimmery white cardstock using Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo. I love how when the colours are combined it creates this beautiful purple colour. 

I think I am going to quickly become addicted to sponging!

Doesn’t that linen thread look so cool, the perfect finishing accent to the card.

It was hard to get a good photo but it looks so pretty with the gold foil and finished off with some pearls.

I have used this waffle cone texture designer series paper which is from the Tasty Treats collection.

This paper is actually on the retirement list an you can get it discounted for a limited time only!

I used a ‘Thank You’ sentiment with the Banners for You bundle. 

I really enjoyed CASE’ing one of Billie’s cards and have had a really fun time looking through her blog.
