I am so excited to be taking part in the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop today with Cindy Schuster.
I feel so privileged to take part in a blog hop with her, as her work is nothing short of amazing. She is currently on the Stampin’ Up artisan team, and no surprise when you see her work.

This is her gorgeous card that I CASE’d. (copied & selectively edited) As you can see I’ve done my won take on this as I’ve moved the panel down and used the gorgeous designer acetate as the layering piece. I’ve also added the linen thread instead of the ribbon.
I was excited to have a play with one of the brand new sets out of the Occasions Catalogue. This is one of the hostess only sets and includes a flower pot which you can layer with flowers to achieve different colours.
The top layer I have copper embossed, which was inspired by a sample I saw at Onstage.
I have used Mint Macaron and Watermelon wonder on the flowers and love how they work together. I then decided that the 2015-2017 in colours would work well together so I used Tip Top Taupe on the flower case and the Delightful Dijon on the sentiment. I love how it came together.
I have also used some of the GORGEOUS new glassine paper from the Sending Love suite out of the Occasions Catalogue to layer between the black card stock and the Designer Acetate. I love the extra texture that it gives.
Finally here is the centre of the card which I have finished with Crumb Cake card stock and a gorgeous phrase stamped from the same stamp set in Tip Top Taupe.
I have also used Watercolour Wings to stamp one of those gorgeous butterflies in Delightful Dijon.
