Hello everyone! This weekend is so busy with lots of crafting happening here in my little paper crafting world! In celebration of our Virtual Retreat I actually wanted to create something with the Stampin’ Up! Regal Winter Suite – you might be wondering what the connection is? Well we have a BONUS class with the Regal Winter suite creating THREE Fun Folds when you join our retreat. How cool is that?
I wanted to show off this beautiful suite and so I have created this fun Diagonal Z Fun Fold Card this week.

Here is a look at the finished Diagonal Z Fun Fold Card. It’s small but mighty and is so easy to create. I love that you can actually get TWO card bases still out of the standard sheet of cardstock just like a normal card as it’s simply cutting the standard sheet on the diagonal. See the Free PDF for a template and measurements of how to easily create this.

I was actually really inspired by a catalogue sample when creating my card in terms of the colour palette and recreating my sample to be this fun fold.

Here is a close up look at some of that detail on the finished card. I snuck in some NEW product that isn’t yet released! The heart sequins and gold thread are actually coming soon (on the 5th of November) to customers OR get them know by adding them to a starter kit and joining my team.

This Diagonal Z Fun Fold card is a GREAT way to feature Designer Series Paper and in this case I took the chance to use the beautiful Regal Distressed Specialty Patterns. This foiled paper is stunning and makes such a gorgeous feature! It also kept in line with the beautiful crisp white featured in the catalogue sample. I also added in the gorgeous Wood Textured paper from the Annual Catalogue. If you haven’t seen this stuff – you need to check it out!

This fun fold is so easy and once you try the easy tip of cutting the perfect angle for the layers (see the PDF & card video) it’s a super easy way to make this easy fun fold design!

Even better – it fits in a standard sized envelope!
