Hello crafty friends!
I’m popping in today with the sweetest little wintery creation — and it’s all thanks to this week’s Global Design Project challenge #GDP525. The colour combo was too good to resist… Highland Heather, Lost Lagoon and Cloud Cover? Yes please! ❄️

And honestly… the moment I saw the colours, I knew I had to pull out the Stampin’ Up! Festive Friends stamp set and Snowy Delights bundle. These cute little snow people just melt my heart every single time.

A Closer Look at the Card

I wanted the whole card to feel soft, snowy and magical — like a little winter wonderland moment on cardstock. I used the Snowy Delight bundle with a blend of Lost Lagoon and Cloud Cover ink to soften the edges and add that frosty depth with that snowflake magic. A little stencilling and splattering (because I always splatter!) brought the background to life.

This adorable snowman from Festive Friends was coloured with Stampin’ Blends using the challenge colours. I couldn’t resist giving him a striped hat — totally cute, totally cosy.

He sits right over a sparkly snowflake stack, plus a bit of twine looped behind him for texture. The sentiment “Sending you joy and many delights” feels perfectly festive and warm.

Inside the Card

I kept the inside clean and simple with another little snowman in the corner — because why not carry the joy all the way through?

This card was honestly such a joy to make, and the challenge colours really pushed me to think outside the traditional winter palette… and I love how it turned out.
